Speed Results Part 1 of ???

I was walking home from the bus stop recently and saw that the speed awareness program/things were still there. The sign said it was Project P.E.E.P., which stands for something that I forget (Public Enforcement and Encouragement Program?). Anyways, there were for sure no sensors laid down on the road, so I gave it a half hearted run-by with laptop in hand and backpack on, well, my back. Nothing happened for awhile but just as I was about to give up since I was only 8 or 9 feet away, a bright number flashed on the display.
It clocked me at 19km/hour.
revolution that.

Your Speed Is

There is one of those portable displays on the side of a road near my house that says "Your Speed Is" then shows a digital read out of your speed as you approach. Generally there is a tube laid across the road nearby with sensors inside that read a vehicle's speed, but I couldn't see any. Maybe I just missed it, but maybe it's a radar gun or whatever-style one. If the latter is the case I am very tempted to try running, skating, and biking by it to see what I register. But then again, maybe not.
The neighbours already look at me funny.
revolution this,

Late Night Stage Fright

Once again the day has come to a point where I'm not quite sure if it's early morning or late night. I think I either need to goto bed earlier or get more friends in time zones to the West of me. I'm always up til 2 or 3 during the school year and often later during the summer (or when I don't have anything early the next day). Sometimes it's researching or reading random stuff, sometimes gaming, other times doing school work (programming) or web design, or even working out. Lately though I haven't been doing much work (I'm self employed) and since I just paid tuition I think I should get back into it heavy until school starts and my time is once again limited.
End of ramblings.

PS - stage fright was for the sake of rhyming
PPS - my sister left for school in California a couple hours ago... :(

Late Nights

Tis a pity that my city don't have no ditty that run after 2am.
(ran out of rhyming words...)
It's 2am and I want to do something. But there's no after hours places here (to my knowledge) and everybody's probably sleeping. Le sigh. Why do I have to be a night hawk (or a Night Crawler as my sister calls me).

nothing to see here folks

[sadly, I cannot always write WHATEVER I want here since most of my identify is attached to this blog in one way or another. This means that friends, friends of family, and family, maybe even potential business partners or employers could stumble across this blog. Therefore, this blog has been edited out in favour of my future; much to the "who cares!?" side of me's dismay... but I don't think it cares anyways.]
